All you do is select what you wish to backup and click on START BACKUP. The server
will compile a backup file for you and then prompt you to save the file on your computer.
Choose where you wish to save the file on your local computer and start the download. This
will now save a file with the extension .raq. Note: A backup may take several minutes
and even longer. The time it takes to backup your web will depend on the web size and your
connection speed. We
recommend that you backup your website at least once a month for safety. If you make
changes to your website often then performing backup once a week or more may be necessary.
Please remember that you are responsible for YOUR OWN BACKUPS with this system. WE WILL
NOT BACKUP YOUR DATA FOR YOU!
RESTORING A WEBSITE
Sometimes a human error is made when your
changing your website or for some reason you need to restore your site on the server. The
reasons what are numerous. In the event that you do need to restore your web from a backup
file on your computer the click on the RESTORE button on the left navigation bar. This
screen will follow:
